This standard library provides the constants e, pi, and tau, all of the trigonometric functions, the hyperbolic functions, the common and natural logarithms, and the exp function.
All of the trigonometric functions are exported with float32
and float64
support as well as Result-wrapped variants. Most are infallible but some are not. The trigonometric functions are defined with both a short 3-5 character name common in textbooks and a fully-spelled out name. Eg, sin
is the same as sine
and ahcc
is the same as archacovercosine
. The meanings and uses of the trigonometric functions will not be covered in here as the Wikipedia links in the first paragraph provide a far better and in-depth explanation, including some great visual diagrams that can elucidate things quickly for those already familiar with the classic sin
